Sathorn, one of Bangkok's showcase streets. All of these big buildings were built in the last five years. Some, however, are incomplete because the money ran out. (2005)

The mighty Chaophrya. Every non-Thai I have ever met regards the cool, refreshing and rejuvenating ferry taxi and bus rides on this river one of the main attractions of Bangkok, but a young Thai told me he would rather take a taxi (and bake in the sun in the city's awesome traffic jams).
